Our pastry chefs – Debi and Melinda- With just baked breakfast rolls at the store.

We are a company of professionals that love to design cake.  Led by Debi – the owner and Melinda – our Pastry Chef.   Both have degrees in Baking and Pastry Arts and have over 30 years of combined experience.  With us and a few others in our business family,  you have a team dedicated to making your wedding or event the best it can be.

We believe in scratch baking, using fresh ingredients, local and “grandmother’s recipes”.   If you buy it from us, it came from a bag of flour, real butter, and was hand crafted with love.   Pop in, see the difference, taste the difference and you will love our difference.

As a boutique pastry shop we only take orders we know we can fulfill to make your dream cake a reality.  Our designs include budget friendly styles like barely iced and sculpted buttercream to stylized fondant and sugar paste decorations.

We use fresh when available and local when possible. These raspberries were from KT Orchard and purchased from the Waynesville Farmers Market. That’s why our raspberry puree is so good!

We are licensed and insured and have a brick and mortar in Waynesville, just miles west of Asheville.   After 5 years of being a private kitchen baking over 750 custom cakes, we have finally opened to the public.  We are open Tuesday-Saturday, so you are welcome to pop in and say hello.  Although for a consultation, we do need an appointment.   Our storefront is located at 500 Hazelwood Ave. Waynesville, NC 28786

We are very involved in our community, donating cakes and desserts for a variety of fundraisers to support non-profits.  Our favorites are those that are for the children.   Some of the organizations:  K.A.R.E, Habitat for Humanity, Folkmoot, various school fundraisers and we proudly design multi tired and sculpted cakes for Icing Smiles.
